Anthropic Accounts for Over One-Third of SpaceX AI Division Revenue Under Megadeal

Anthropic accounted for 34.5% of SpaceX's AI unit revenue in the third quarter, surpassing the U.S. government as SpaceX's single largest customer. The artificial intelligence developer has committed to spending up to $120.5 billion through 2029 for computing capacity hosted at SpaceX facilities in Memphis, Tennessee, with monthly payments potentially reaching about $3.1 billion starting in December. The deal pushed SpaceX's AI unit into profitability, following a strong third quarter where total company revenue reached $14.58 billion, driven by $7.6 billion from the Superintelligence segment.
