Anthropic Plans $518 Billion Compute Spend With Major Commitments to Amazon and Alphabet

Anthropic's initial public offering prospectus revealed plans to spend at least $518 billion on cloud computing and artificial intelligence infrastructure over the next decade. Approximately 80% of the planned expenditure comprises non-cancelable commitments across major tech partners. Under the plan, Amazon is set to receive at least $110 billion for Amazon Web Services infrastructure, including Trainium chips and Project Rainier. Alphabet will capture at least $111.1 billion, while Microsoft is slated for $31.4 billion. The disclosures also detail an expanded agreement to pay SpaceX up to $84.5 billion through 2029.
