Apple Prepares to Unveil First Touchscreen MacBooks at Los Angeles Product Event

Apple Inc. is expected to unveil its first touchscreen MacBooks at a product event in Los Angeles on Wednesday, reversing more than a decade of resistance to touchscreen laptops. The planned launch caps an autumn product blitz ahead of the holiday shopping season, following the release of the foldable iPhone Duo in September and a smart home hub in October. The new touchscreen models are reportedly slated to ship with existing M5 Pro and M5 Max processors rather than the newly announced M6 chips.
