Apple Briefly Surpasses Nvidia as Most Valuable Company Before Finishing Behind at Friday Close

Apple shares briefly hit a record intraday high of $351.73 on Friday, temporarily pushing its valuation to $5.1 trillion and overtaking Nvidia. However, Nvidia finished the session back on top with a $5.094 trillion market capitalization compared to Apple's $5.074 trillion close at $347.73. The move followed a narrowing valuation gap earlier in the week, when Apple closed at $348.22 ($5.082 trillion) to sit just $42 billion behind Nvidia. Apple's surge has been fueled by the retail launch of its foldable iPhone Duo ahead of its November 2 earnings report.
