Apple Unveils $299 HomeView Smart Display and Partner Hardware to Expand AI Ecosystem

Apple has launched the HomeView smart display for $299 alongside updated living room hardware to challenge Amazon and Google in the connected home market. Powered by an A18 chip, the seven-inch hub supports multi-user facial recognition and upgraded Siri AI. Apple also introduced a refreshed $299 Apple TV 4K, the $149 HomePod mini 2, and the Apple Home Collection featuring accessories co-developed with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric. Deliveries begin on November 13, initially excluding the European Union due to AI regulations. The announcement briefly lifted Apple's valuation above $5 trillion.
