Aztec Foundation Launches Tierra Alpha V6 Upgrade, Fixing Vulnerability and Accelerating Transactions

Aztec Foundation has launched the Tierra Alpha V6 upgrade for its privacy-focused Ethereum Layer 2 network, resolving a critical proving system vulnerability from V5 that risked contract states and user funds. The release introduces formal verification and an AI-assisted security testing harness to harden the network. Tierra Alpha V6 also brings major performance upgrades: client-side private proof generation speed doubled to roughly one second on consumer devices, and Ethereum-to-Aztec cross-chain message delivery dropped from a two-minute average to 12 seconds or less across its network of over 3,000 validators.
