Binance Founder CZ Publicly Mocks Peter Schiff Over Decade-Long Bearish Bitcoin Predictions

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao mocked gold advocate Peter Schiff on X following a viral video compilation detailing Schiff's 13-year history of forecasting Bitcoin's collapse to zero. Zhao remarked that the critic would only be proven right after changing his stance. The exchange revisited Schiff's repeated warnings against Bitcoin from fractional values in 2011, near $350 in 2013, and approaching $20,000 in 2017, even as Bitcoin surpassed $50,000 in 2021, $100,000 in December 2024, and $111,000 in 2025. Bitcoin traded near $82,500 at the time of the latest exchange.
