Cryptocurrency exchange Binance transferred approximately 21,750 Bitcoin, valued at about $1.69 billion, from cold storage to an operational hot wallet. The transaction followed significant withdrawal activity on November 1, when users pulled $4.4 billion across multiple assets on the day withdrawal services resumed, including 19,569 BTC worth roughly $1.5 billion by 7:50 a.m. ET. While such internal transfers are frequently standard reallocations to manage liquidity and wallet security, market speculation has suggested potential links to reimbursing affected clients. Binance has not officially confirmed the operational purpose behind the transfer.
