Bitcoin Whales Accumulate Nearly 89,000 BTC Over Past Month Amid Address Growth

Large Bitcoin holders have accumulated 88,987 BTC since September 19, pushing their combined balance above 13.69 million BTC to a six-month high. The buying occurred despite Bitcoin pulling back below $81,400, cooling institutional treasury demand, and spot Bitcoin ETFs recording $90.57 million in net outflows across October. On-chain metrics show addresses holding 100 to 1,000 BTC rose by 202 over the month, 1,000 to 10,000 BTC wallets grew by 41, and 10 to 100 BTC addresses gained 80. Conversely, ultra-large wallets holding over 10,000 BTC decreased by two.
