Bitcoin Rebounds Above $80,500 After Dipping Below $80,000 on Trump Iran Strike Warnings

Bitcoin traded near $80,546 after plunging to an intraday low of $79,220 as President Donald Trump indicated potential U.S. military strikes against Iran could occur as early as Sunday. The cryptocurrency broke below its 50-day moving average of $81,784, triggering $543.68 million in crypto liquidations over 24 hours, including $461.19 million in long positions. The decline follows a broader retreat from near $85,000 earlier in the week, driven by surging Brent crude oil prices to $117.30 and heavy U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF outflows, including $635 million on Thursday.
