Large derivatives traders are escalating bearish bets on Ether. On-chain data indicates address 0xfc27136e42af1732ddc9ce2605ea9bff1b959d9d added approximately $3.2 million to an existing short position, lifting total short exposure to 6,543.11 ETH, valued at roughly $14.56 million. The account has cumulative gains of about $21.77 million. This follows a move by another prominent derivatives trader, with $40.97 million in historical profits, who reversed from an earlier long position of 1,010.24 ETH to an active short position of 1,406.37 ETH valued at $3.16 million after closing $4.22 million in longs and opening $5.17 million in shorts.
