Ether.fi Mandates Optimum's mump2p Block-Propagation Software Across All 12 Node Operators

Liquid restaking protocol ether.fi has mandated that all 12 of its node operators deploy Optimum's mump2p block-propagation software on the Ethereum mainnet. The software became fully active in production on October 20, shifting from an optional deployment to a mandatory requirement. Operating alongside Ethereum's GossipSub layer, mump2p runs across 16 total operators and roughly 22,000 validator keys holding over 1.4 million staked ETH, worth about $3.7 billion. Developer Optimum self-reported that the software cuts block arrival times by 2.42 times to improve MEV rewards and minimize missed attestations.
