Firebird Secures Export License for 45,000 Nvidia Blackwell GPUs for Kazakh Data Center

Firebird.ai has secured an export license for 45,000 Nvidia Grace Blackwell GPUs to deploy in a Kazakhstan data center developed with Kazakhtelecom, scaling up to 500 megawatts with phase one targeting launch in Q3 2027. The regulatory approval follows Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's visit to Kazakhstan, where he met President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to discuss expanding artificial intelligence infrastructure. Kazakhstan previously announced a $10 billion AI initiative with Firebird to deploy 100,000 GPUs, alongside other major computing projects as the nation seeks to establish itself as a regional AI hub.
