Galaxy Research Declares End of Bitcoin Bear Market Citing Technical and Flow Shifts

Galaxy Research declared Bitcoin's bear market ended at its June low, calling the current market an attractive entry point for long-term investors. Bitcoin traded near $80,000, roughly 39% above its June trough and 35% below its previous all-time high. The shift is supported by five consecutive weekly closes above its 50-week moving average of $76,540, ending a 44-week downtrend. Additional tailwinds include 87,000 BTC added by spot ETFs since June, slowing long-term holder selling to 34,000 BTC monthly, and rising U.S. federal debt of $40.44 trillion.
