Heatbit Launches Bitwater Bitcoin Mining Water Heater Preorders Starting at $899

Heatbit has opened refundable preorders starting at $899 for Bitwater, a retrofit heating element that mines Bitcoin while warming domestic water tanks. Equipped with 20 Bitmain BM1370 chips, the water-cooled unit delivers up to 34 terahashes per second at an energy efficiency of 12 joules per terahash, drawing up to 600 watts of power. Designed to fit standard 30- to 80-gallon residential electric water tanks, the hardware transfers waste computational heat directly into the water supply. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027, with later batches priced up to $1,299.
