Kalshi 15-Minute Gold Contracts Surpass Ethereum Activity and Fees in September

Kalshi's 15-minute gold contracts surpassed its Ethereum markets in September, logging 542 million contracts and approximately $5 million in estimated fees. Ethereum recorded 318 million contracts and $2.6 million in fees over the same period, while Bitcoin retained dominance with roughly $60.4 million in fees. Following its August debut, rapid adoption pushed Kalshi's total commodities volume to $400 million within seven months, quadruple its crypto volume over an equivalent duration. Over the seven days ending October 5, crypto, commodities, and financial contracts generated $20.4 million, representing 80% of non-sports fees.
