Law Firms Announce Securities Class Actions Against Alphabet Over Gemini 3.5 Pro Delays

Law firms Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer LLP and Bleichmar Fonti & Auld LLP have announced a securities class action lawsuit against Alphabet Inc. and senior executives, establishing a lead plaintiff deadline of December 1, 2026. The lawsuits allege that Alphabet made materially false and misleading statements about the development timeline for its Gemini 3.5 Pro artificial intelligence model, which was reportedly months behind schedule after disappointing retraining results. When reports disclosed the setbacks on July 16, 2026, Alphabet Class A shares fell 4.4%, or $16.46, closing at $354.46, while Class C shares dropped $16.39.
