Lido Proposes Two-Track MEV Framework Ahead of Ethereum's Glamsterdam ePBS Upgrade

Lido has introduced a governance proposal for a two-track Maximal Extractable Value (MEV) policy designed for Ethereum's upcoming enshrined Proposer-Builder Separation (ePBS) in the Glamsterdam upgrade. The system separates trustless bids with protocol-guaranteed payments from trusted bids offering extra payments, which require approval on Lido's Allowed List by the Curated Module Committee. All rewards will flow to the Lido Execution Layer Rewards Vault. The policy includes a bid-deviation mechanism flagging submissions falling below 90% to 95% of the highest eligible bid. A governance vote is set for November 2026.
