Midnight Foundation and Sig Network Partner to Bring Privacy Features to Ethereum

Midnight Foundation and Sig Network have partnered to bring enhanced privacy features to Ethereum decentralized applications without requiring asset migration, cross-chain bridges, or token wrapping. Currently live on Midnight's stagenet test network, the architecture assigns an Ethereum account to each Midnight contract using threshold signature schemes to authorize transactions. This system keeps user identities and activity shielded on Midnight while settlement amounts and timestamps remain visible on Ethereum. The setup supports Uniswap swaps, Aave lending, and selective disclosure for compliance, though no mainnet deployment timeline has been announced.
