Nvidia Commits $250 Million in Compute Resources to UK AI Safety Research

Nvidia announced a five-year compute donation valued at $250 million to bolster artificial intelligence safety and security research in the United Kingdom. The initiative supplies $50 million annually in high-performance compute access to UK research institutions targeting agentic foundation models, robotics safety, and AI safeguards. Supported programs include the University of Oxford's BOLD laboratory, University College London's SOFAIR lab, and Imperial College London. Compute access will be hosted and delivered domestically via UK-based Nvidia Cloud Partners to reinforce national AI infrastructure.
