Nvidia Rejects Chinese Espionage Report Alleging Asset Targeted CEO Jensen Huang

Nvidia has publicly rejected reports that Chief Executive Jensen Huang was targeted by an alleged Chinese intelligence asset, maintaining that meetings were routine commercial dealings. U.S. intelligence agencies investigated Alice Huang, an executive at Singapore-based cloud provider Megaspeed, over suspicions of gathering intelligence and circumventing U.S. export controls on artificial intelligence chips. Trade records show Megaspeed's Malaysian affiliate purchased at least $4.8 billion in Nvidia-powered equipment between June 2024 and February 2026. Nvidia emphasized that past diversion claims were investigated and debunked, noting no trade secrets or national security information were ever compromised.
