Pando Rings Exploiter Launders 4,000 Ether Through Tornado Cash Four Years After Hack

A wallet linked to the 2022 Pando Rings exploit has transferred 4,000 Ether, valued at roughly $9.22 million, through privacy mixer Tornado Cash. The attacker moved the funds in multiple 100 ETH batches after consolidating holdings via decentralized finance protocols. Ahead of the transfers, the exploiter deposited 16.8 million USDT on Aave to borrow and repay 5,000 ETH, then converted around 16.7 million to 16.98 million DAI into 7,548 ETH at an average price of $2,249. Approximately 3,548 ETH remains outside the mixer, with no deposits to centralized exchanges identified.
