SpaceX will distribute more than 2 million shares to eligible children through Trump Accounts starting in December, President Gwynne Shotwell announced. The initial tranche, currently moving into escrow, targets youths aged 11 to 17 in ZIP codes with median family incomes of $57,000 or less, or areas lacking reported income metrics. A secondary program is planned for overseas military families, foster youth, and Texas families earning $90,000 or below. The equity initiative follows disclosures that SpaceX and Tesla formed special committees to evaluate a potential merger, though no transaction terms have been finalized.
