Stacks Accumulates Approximately 735 BTC Across First Two Bitcoin Staking Bonding Periods

Stacks has secured approximately 735 BTC across the first two bonding periods of its mainnet Bitcoin Staking feature. The program began with the Genesis Bond on September 10, 2026, which concluded with 230 BTC bonded. The second bonding period added approximately 505 BTC, filling its 500 BTC maximum capacity, driven by roughly 483 BTC from Stacking DAO's liquid staking token stBTC. Yields target an estimated 3% APY paid weekly in Bitcoin. Concurrently, native STX staking grew by over 25% from 392 million to 493 million tokens following the July 30 PoX-5 hard fork.
