Super League and Metaplanet US Unit Reportedly Add Four Bitcoin Ahead of Merger

Super League Enterprise has expanded its corporate treasury by purchasing four additional Bitcoin, raising its total holdings to seven BTC ahead of its transaction with Metaplanet. Earlier reports also indicated Metaplanet's US subsidiary acquired four Bitcoin to reach a seven BTC balance. The acquisitions precede a pending takeover announced in August 2026, wherein Metaplanet Holdings will contribute 2,100 BTC and $2.5 million in cash for an approximate 95.7% stake in Super League. Super League shareholders approved the share issuance on October 16, 2026, targeting a fourth-quarter closing and rebranding to Superplanet Inc.
