T-Mobile CEO Rules Out MVNO Partnership With SpaceX Across Consumer and AI Segments

T-Mobile Chief Executive Srini Gopalan dismissed any potential Mobile Virtual Network Operator agreement with SpaceX across both consumer wireless and Physical and Edge AI segments. Gopalan stated satellite capacity offers no incremental total addressable market coverage beyond limited rural areas, leaving SpaceX to build standalone terrestrial infrastructure. The rejection follows SpaceX's agreement to acquire nationwide 800 MHz spectrum and efforts to access around 80,000 cell sites, which analysts estimate could require approximately $80 billion in low-band capital expenditures. Meanwhile, T-Mobile reported third-quarter revenue of $23.58 billion and raised full-year adjusted EBITDA guidance to $37.35 billion–$37.45 billion.
