U.S. Ether ETFs Shed $320 Million, Overtaking Bitcoin Fund Outflows

U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs recorded roughly $320 million in net outflows for the week ending October 16, outpacing Bitcoin fund withdrawals amid sustained institutional risk aversion. Redemptions were concentrated heavily in BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA), which shed $299 million. Ether products posted single-day net exits of $129.5 million on October 14 and $69.7 million on October 16. In contrast, Bitcoin ETFs logged about $228 million in net outflows, declining 66% week-over-week. Despite the weekly selling, total Ether ETF assets under management held between $14.5 billion and $15.3 billion.
