YouTube Q3 Ad Revenue Hits $11.2 Billion Amid Strong Living-Room Viewership Growth
Alphabet reported YouTube generated $11.2 billion to $11.21 billion in third-quarter advertising revenue, a 9% year-over-year increase that missed Wall Street's $11.43 billion estimate and slowed from 13% growth in the second quarter. Despite the deceleration, living-room connected TV ads generated approximately $3.74 billion, exceeding Netflix's reduced full-year ad outlook of $2.7 billion by 38%. YouTube Music and Premium subscribers surpassed 150 million, up from 125 million in March 2025, while August Nielsen data showed YouTube leading the streaming market with a 15.8% share compared to Netflix's 7.7%.
